I am sadden to read the Los Angeles Times this morning, it seems that some already endangered species of sea turtles have washed up on shore. This is just another example of how global warming and bacteria already in the ocean is affecting All of us as yet another species may possibly disappear . The OliveRidleys, Hawksbills and the Black Sea Turtle, usually the turtles biggest threat is hunters and reptiles are hard to kill and they are washing up on shore in tact. This is not a good thing.

Are you having trouble trying to post to my blog? i've been getting returned mail in my email account, and it looks familiar, like your address. just curious. it seems to happen every day, and i haven't seen you on the gobhole in awhile. let me know

also, it is sad about the sea turtles. i think that airplanes, and cruise ships, dumping their garbage and human waste into the ocean is starting to have an effect

i also think that there is more dumping of garbage into the ocean going on than we know about. something to check into.

Susie - that could be some of the problem, I haven't thought that far. The e-mail thing, I was by there last week, to thank you for the nail clipper post but not on the e-mail.

Not at all good. We should all be thinking about how we can care for the Earth.

This is very scary stuff. I know Minneapolis has seen its warmest winter ever. It's in the 30s and barely any snow. Thanks for the post.

our lack of knowledge and understanding dictates the actions and the future/fate of humans. the earth will heal it's self given the time but i dont think we can last that long.

am glad over your concern skyblue2u, awarenesss is a good answer to start with.

5 things you can do to help stop global warming..

1) Buy energy efficient electrical goods, use low energy light bulbs, turn off (not standby) when your not using it.
2) own a smaller, fuel efficient car. Car share, walk more.
3) ensure your home is properly insulated. Put on a sweater rather than the heating.
4) plant a tree. good for wildlife & helps offset emmisions.
5) Kill George Bush and elect a president who gives a fuck about our grandchildrens future.

Hi Skyeblue, thanks for visiting my blog :)

I love your photos. I live on the Great Barrier Reef, so i get to see many turtles lay their eggs on the sand here. The Oliveridley and Hawkesbill were not in the numbers as our flatback population, but over the last few years, they are dwindling even more......very sad.
